sept 2nd 2008, i HAD to have this surgery! ratty was going to die without it-theres no doubt about that!- but- MAN!!THIS IS H-A-R-D!!i'm so sick all the time!,and the doctor says that anybody that goes through this surgery ,can be sick like i am for up to two years after the surgery! while your body adjusts to these drastic changes that your bodies going through.i'm trying to get up and get out and walk twice a day for twenty minutes at a time-but three weeks after surgery-i'm still sore and tire easily.but with my roommates help[she barks at me until i get up!--and she takes out with her every day,shopping,bill paying]so i think i'm getting enough exercise-when we get back i'm so exhausted that i take a nap for a couple hours!anyways,i guess that i will survive but my life is so wierd now.i have never felt hungry since i got out of the hospital.i do get thirsty though.sometimes so very thirsty that i forget to take small sips and hurt my stomach by taking in too much liquid at one time.really bad stomach ache!gut pain too!Everytime that i eat i get a tummy ache,thats why i think i forget to eat.but then-forget to eat brings headaches and a fainting feeling on!GEEZE!learn while you live i guess!three weeks on and i've lost over 40lbs.My blood pressures gone down.and thats what had my doctor the most worried,also my diabetes,which my blood sugar readings have also gone down drastically.Next i'll need to do another sleep study to see if my sleep apnea has gotten any better.and i havent had an asthma attack since before the surgery.So maybe,just maybe-i made the right desision after all.and after a little suffering-everything will turn out just fine!ratty rat will dance once again!
